Device end (B): 4 x SFF-8482 (SAS 29 pin), male, with 15 pin SATA power supply per channel. 2、 Speed and bandwidth: Single channel speed: 6Gbps (SAS 2.0/SATA 3.0) Total bandwidth: 4 × 6Gbps=24Gbps. Protocol compatibility: SAS 2.1, SATA 3.0; SAS 3.0 (12Gbps) is not supported. 3. Electrical and Physical: Wire gauge: 28/30 AWG oxygen free copper, aluminum foil shielding. Impedance: 100 Ω differential, compliant with SAS specifications. Length: Standard 0.5m/1m, customizable. Color: Red/Black is common; RoHS compliance. Appearance: Integrated splitter, compatible with half length card/1U chassis. 4、 Function and purpose: Connection: 1 SFF-8087 → 4 SAS/SATA hard drives (2.5/3.5 inches). Power supply: Each SFF-8482 is integrated with a 15 pin SATA power supply, without the need for additional power cords. Scenario: Internal expansion of servers, RAID arrays, HBA cards. Hot swappable: support (requires system/controller cooperation).
