The 9600 family offers significant improvements, including double the bandwidth, over four times the IOPs, a 25-fold reduction in write latency, and a remarkable 60-fold increase in performance during rebuilds compared to the previous generation.
Built upon the SAS4116W RAID-on-Chip (RoC), the MegaRAID 9670W-16i takes performance to the next level by delivering more than a fourfold increase in RAID5 Random Write Ops and twice the bandwidth compared to its predecessor. Notably, the 9670W-16i incorporates an advanced thermal solution that achieves these significant performance enhancements without imposing additional airflow requirements on the system, unlike previous generation adapters. Users can seamlessly integrate the 9670W-16i into their current platforms, unlocking groundbreaking SSD performance without the need for extra cooling or airflow accommodations.
